Food Pantry
The pantry is open from 10 am to Noon on Wednesday mornings. Please enter the lower door on 8th Street. We have bags of food made up for families of one person to eight or more persons. We have cleaning supplies to give out as well. A bag lunch including a sandwich, fruit, chips, and a granola bar is available to anyone who wants one or more. Emergency food is available by sending a message through our Facebook page, the contact us page, or by posting on our Prayer Wall. You may also call the church office at 304-675-2170 and leave a message.
Clothes Closet
Our clothing closet is open every Wednesday from 10 am to 12 Noon. It is located on the lower floor on the left if you enter the lower door on 8th Street. Clothing, outer wear, shoes, socks, etc. is available for all ages. There is no cost. Please come and browse our inventory. Clients can also pick up food from the pantry and cleaning supplies if needed. Don't forget your sack lunch!
Donations are accepted on Wednesday mornings when the closet is open. Call the church office if you want to drop off items at another time. 304-675-2170 Please do not leave items outside the doors.
Blessing Box
The Blessing Box can be found outside the church on 8th Street. It is filled regularly by the Food Pantry volunteers. Community members also place donations in the box. Warm clothing like socks and gloves are appreciated as are hygiene products like toothpaste and bath soap. Thank you so much to anyone who donates to the Blessing Box. There are many in our community that are living rough and use the box. Remember to take what you need and leave what you can!
Homeless Ministry
Our church and community are concerned about those who do not have a safe and warm place to sleep. The food pantry keeps donated blankets and tarps, hats, gloves, and socks in stock for those without a home. We give out can openers and try to stock the blessing box with high protein foods. We are working with the Family Resource Center at Trinity Methodist Church to try to meet the needs of those living rough. We accept donations of all the above items on Wednesdays or items can be placed in the Blessing Box. Please get in touch if you wish to help with this ministry.
